About the Game

Cliche LLC is a single-player point-and-click puzzle game. Players play as an employee of Cliche LLC. Their job is to eliminate all the cliches happening in the movies.

 

This short game is created for Itch one month Game Off 2022.

I worked on 3D Models, Game Design, Scprits,  Lighting,  and Rendering.

Design

All of the artists on the team are also designers. After some discussions and settling down on the main gameplay loop and levels, the 2D artist has to deliver some concepts in the next couple of days and hand them to another 3D artist for models and me.

Models and Level Render

After getting the concepts, another 3D modeler and I starts working on turning them into 3D in Maya.

After another 3D artist and finished our models, I put all of them together, make edits,and lay out our level.

Lighting and Color

After the levels are built, I added lighting and colors, while making further adjustments by communicating with the concept artist to make sure it looks right.

Final Renders

It's time to render! Following our designs and concept, I adjusted each asset and rendered frames for each route. 80 Images in total.

All of the images are then shipped to our engineers to edit in Unity.

Scripts

The other 3D artist and I worked together on the scripts for our in-game Emails and dialogues.
